Hotel Elephant’s newest workspace building is located in Walworth SE17. A former school, St Johns Walworth opened in the Summer of 2022 and provides workspaces for artists, makers, and small creative businesses.

We are pleased to offer high-quality spaces secure for five years, providing a much-needed addition to London’s creative workspace landscape. All our spaces have lots of natural light, heating, wifi, and access to communal facilities such as kitchens, wash-out sinks, and a bookable project space for our members. Located in the former school hall, the project space is available to hire for various arts, education, and community activities. 

It is our ambition that all workspace members will provide an element of educational or community benefit as part of their tenancy.

  • St Johns provides studios of various sizes.

    Our small studios range in size from 40 sqft - 200 sqft. Prices start at £300 per month.

    All studios are self-contained with natural light, heating and high-speed wifi.

    Our medium & large studios range in size from 215 sqft to 600 sqft. Prices start at £680 per month.

  • Located in the former school hall, the project space is available for studio members to book for their projects.

    It is also available to hire to the public for various arts, education and community activities.
